General questions

How much does a lift cost?

There is no single price — cost depends on the lift type, number of floors (stops), capacity, speed, drive system, door type, cabin finishes and site conditions such as shaft readiness. Share your requirement and Sakshi Elevators will prepare a free, itemised quotation.

Which type of lift is right for my building?

Homes and villas usually suit a compact home lift; apartments and offices a passenger lift; hospitals a stretcher lift; factories and warehouses a goods lift; and hotels, malls or statement lobbies a panoramic capsule lift. A short consultation and site survey confirms the right choice.

Can a lift be installed in an existing home?

Yes. Machine-room-less (MRL) and compact hydraulic home lifts are engineered to fit existing stairwell voids, structural openings or external glass hoistways without heavy pit excavation.

What power supply does a home lift need?

Sakshi home lifts run on standard single-phase domestic power. Commercial and multi-passenger lifts use 415 V three-phase power.

How long does installation take?

Residential villa lifts typically take about 2–3 weeks; commercial multi-storey projects about 4–8 weeks after the civil shaft is handed over, depending on shaft readiness and cabin specification.

What is included in an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)?

Sakshi AMCs include monthly multi-point safety checks, door alignment calibration, guide rail lubrication, drive motor inspections, control panel audits and 24/7 breakdown dispatch.

What happens if the power fails while I am in the lift?

The battery-backed Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) triggers automatically, drives the car to the nearest landing, opens the doors and lets passengers exit safely.

What safety features do your lifts have?

Multi-layered safety including the Automatic Rescue Device (ARD), full-height infrared light curtain, overload protection, mechanical speed governor with emergency safety gear, and microprocessor VVVF control for smooth, accurate stops.

Do your lifts comply with Indian safety standards?

Sakshi Elevators states that its components, structural frames, overspeed governors, interlocks and control panels comply with IS 14665 and global lift safety codes.

Can the cabin be customised?

Yes. Cabin options include brushed stainless steel (304 grade), gold finishes and custom glass panelling, and capsule lifts come in semi-circular, circular or three-side panoramic glass.

Do you provide service after installation?

Yes — through customised AMCs with routine preventive maintenance, monthly diagnostic checks and rapid emergency breakdown response, backed by a 24/7 emergency support line for AMC customers.

Which areas do you serve?

Sakshi Elevators is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and serves projects across India. Contact the team to confirm availability for your location.
